## Episode 1

“Please……”

I suddenly came to my senses at the sound of a hoarse voice.

“……Please.”

I looked down toward the source of the sound and saw a beautiful man desperately clutching my ankle. A faint sting spread where his fingers gripped me. What on earth is going on? Is this a dream?

His silver hair—shimmering as if spun from sugar—lay in careless disarray at my feet. He was strikingly handsome. For a moment, I could only stare at him, entranced, forgetting to respond. His lake-blue eyes trembled like disturbed water.

“Excuse me……”

“……Please say something. But before that, I’m in rather a hurry, so I need you to give me my medicine first.”

Medicine? What medicine?

“……Please.”

Though his tone was polite, there was unmistakable urgency beneath it. I had no idea what he was talking about, yet he seemed to misread my confusion and clenched his teeth.

“……I haven’t taken it for several days. Please… please.”

His face was deathly pale. He breathed as though each inhale cost him dearly. Whatever this was, I couldn’t just stand by and watch someone collapse.

“Where is it?”

“In your pocket.”

Why would your medicine be in my pocket?

The thought made no sense, yet my hands were already moving. My fingers brushed against cold glass.

At that moment, it struck me—this had to be a dream. A vivid one. I had no idea why I was dreaming something like this, though.

“Is this it?”

I held up a small vial filled with colorless liquid and waved it in front of his eyes. A strange light flickered within those blue depths.

“Yes… that’s it. Hurry…”

“Rosie! What are you doing?!”

Just as I was about to hand him the vial, a woman dressed in what looked like a maid’s uniform rushed in, shouting in shock. She had beautiful blonde hair and striking green eyes, now wide with alarm.

“Are you possessed by that monster right now?”

“……Monster?”

“Yes! Did you forget? You can’t give him medicine without the master’s permission!”

Wait. A silver-haired man with blue eyes. Medicine. A monster. The master’s permission…

Those keywords felt strangely familiar.

Scenes from a novel I’d read long ago surfaced in my mind. A BL novel. But which one?

My thoughts were abruptly cut short as someone yanked my arm. Startled, I stumbled in the direction of the pull. The maid—when had she gotten so close?—tightened her grip.

“Let’s go, Rosie. If you stay here any longer, that monster will possess you too.”

Without thinking, I allowed her to drag me away. Over my shoulder, I caught a glimpse of the man still on the floor, his jaw clenched, his expression twisted with humiliation and despair.

Is it really okay not to give him the medicine?

My chest tightened. While the maid was distracted, I let the vial slip from my hand onto the carpet. It landed softly. Then, with a subtle nudge of my foot, I sent it rolling toward him.

His eyes widened in shock as he quickly snatched up the bottle, as if he’d never expected me to do such a thing.

Drink it.

I offered him a faint smile before leaving the room. Even as I stepped away, I could feel his half-dazed gaze following me.

I didn’t realize it then.

That beautiful man… was the madman from the BL novel I had read long ago.

And—

“From now on, you can’t go anywhere without my permission.”

I never imagined he would one day say that to me.
