Chapter Title: A Kind Person

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Without knocking, the bedroom door swung open. It was Biern.

Sitting at the foot of the bed, anxiously twisting the hem of her nightgown, Erna looked up at him with wide, startled eyes. Before she could figure out what to do, frozen in place, Biern was right in front of her.

As he leaned down to lower his head, a large hand cupped her chin. Erna's trembling gaze was helplessly drawn along by that hand, until it settled on Biern.

"How far did you get?"

Unlike his cool, firm hand, the smile tugging at Biern's lips was gentle.

"......I don't really know."

After agonizing over it, Erna chose to lie. It felt better to bite her tongue than admit she'd bolted from a lesson on how to satisfy her husband when her body wasn't in the right condition.

"I don't remember."

Seeing the way Biern's eyes narrowed made her flinch for some reason, and she swallowed dryly without thinking.

"Is that so?"

Biern chuckled softly and sat down beside Erna.

"Then we'll have to start from the beginning."

By the time she grasped what he meant, Erna was already lying back on the bed. The imposing body straddling hers brought back painful, humiliating memories of their wedding night. Along with them came the indecent illustrations and steamy descriptions from the booklet Mrs. Peg had brought.

"To kiss, Erna."

Biern's fingertips pressed against her tightly pressed lips.

"You have to open up."

Even as he met her trembling eyes, Biern made his demand without hesitation.

"Come on."

His tone was gentle, but the calm, sunken look in his eyes held no warmth.

After hesitating, Erna finally parted her lips. Resisting would do no good—he could do whatever he wanted if he felt like it. That much she'd learned from their first night.

Biern thrust his tongue between her parted lips in one swift motion. Erna flinched back reflexively with a small jerk, but she couldn't bring herself to push him away.

A wife's duty.

It had been a short lesson, but plenty of time to grasp its meaning. In the bedroom, a wife had the duty to bring her husband pleasure, and it was a vitally important part of keeping the marriage smooth and steady.

Erna couldn't quite understand how such a thing could be pleasurable, but she knew one thing for sure: her husband didn't find his wife enjoyable. No—he seemed thoroughly displeased, to the point where he might never want to try again. In other words, this marriage had been creaking from the start.

The kiss dragged on longer and more insistently than on their wedding night.

He stirred her mouth freely, sucking relentlessly on her tongue until it tingled. Only then did he finally release Erna. Their breaths, spilling from between her saliva-slicked, reddened lips, were already coming in heavy gasps.

"I hate this stuff."

Biern smiled faintly as he undid the ribbons and buttons all the way up to the neckline of Erna's nightgown.

"It's such a hassle."

"Ah, I'll wear a different nightgown from now on."

"No."

Patiently undoing the last button, Biern swept away the cumbersome pile of lace from his wife's body.

"Don't wear anything."

He yanked down her panties in one go too—small enough to fit in the palm of his hand, adorned with cute ribbons and lace, which struck him as absurdly adorable.

"They're coming off anyway."

Biern pressed a quick kiss to his dazed wife's cheek, then scooped up her naked body and settled her on his thigh. Erna let out a sharp little cry of surprise at the sudden shift in position, the sound slicing through the darkness.

Biern glanced between the flushed wife's legs—not nearly wet enough to satisfy him—and frowned slightly. What an clumsy, troublesome woman... yet he didn't hate it. Of course not. No man alive could dislike a body like this.

It was as pale and luminous as if sculpted from moonlight.

The smooth, cool surface seemed almost glassy or porcelain-like at a glance, but the actual touch was endlessly soft and warm. Biern liked that contrast.

"Biern......"

Flustered and not knowing what to do, Erna looked up at him pleadingly. As if begging him to do something—whatever that something was. So bold and pitiable in her ignorance.

Letting out a heated chuckle, Biern buried his face in the breasts swaying before him without a second thought. Freshly bathed, she carried a sweet, soft scent. The more he bit and sucked, the richer it grew, mingling with her whimpering moans that only made him more relentless.

Shedding his half-open robe, Biern slipped his hand between Erna's quivering thighs. Her entrance welcomed him easily, soft and slick enough to make wet sounds. But recalling that night when she'd been so soaked yet still cried in pain, he couldn't be entirely sure.

After a brief moment of thought, Biern claimed her small, pouting lips again. His wet hand wrapped firmly around her back as she tried to squirm away, gleaming in the firelight from the hearth.

"Don't just lie there like a corpse. Move."

Her lips parted obediently, but that was all. Biern gave the order in a low, steady voice. Erna gazed at him with confused eyes.

"What?"

"Your tongue first."

As if to show her what he wanted, Biern took her lips again. Following his lead of tangling and sucking, Erna tentatively moved her own tongue. Even that clumsy stimulation sent the heat surging sharply higher.

"Your hands too."

With a glance, Biern indicated the limp hands resting uselessly on his shoulders.

Only then did Erna hesitantly wrap her arms around his nape. Gaining a bit of courage, she moved her hands slowly, feeling the solid frame and sleek muscles beneath.

Distracted by the novel sensation, Erna's gaze drifted downward unthinkingly to where she felt the unfamiliar pressure. As her eyes blinked slowly, an unconscious sigh escaped her.

It felt even more unreal than the first time.

That night had been shocking and strange; now fear was added to it. After he'd entered her, she'd lost hold of her senses for even a moment, but the memory of her body feeling torn apart was etched deep.

Following Erna's anxious sidelong glances, Biern looked down and chuckled low, grasping her stiff little hand. Calmly, he guided it downward. Realizing his intent, Erna panicked and wriggled, but Biern didn't stop.

"You wanted me to teach you."

His eyes narrowed as he stared at her shaking her head fiercely. He smiled slowly at Erna's horrified reaction to the unfamiliar sensation now in her grasp.

"You have to learn well."

He wrapped his hand firmly around hers, since she couldn't grip with any strength and was just trembling.

"Move, Erna."

The moment she heard that command, laced with a hot, damp breath, Erna suddenly missed Mrs. Peg. A regret that had come too late.

"Lips."

Biern's low voice seeped into his stifled groan.

As Erna stubbornly clamped her lips shut and shook her head, he grabbed her chin himself. As pressure built slowly, she had no choice but to part her lips, spilling out the breath and moans she'd held back.

Only then did Biern smile in satisfaction. Lying on the bed, he positioned himself between Erna's gasping legs. Aligning at her entrance, he began to push in slowly. Erna sobbed in pain, twisting his shoulders in her grip.

A flicker of dismay crossed his mind, but Biern didn't stop. His wife was already so wet it stained not just between her thighs but the sheets too. He didn't know how to lavish more care on a woman like this. Even if he did, his patience for it had long been exhausted.

Gripping her hips—marked with his angry red handprints—he thrust in to the hilt in one motion. Erna writhed and bit her lip again.

"Let it out."

As he began moving his hips, Biern commanded once more. A rough sigh escaped at the warm, tight embrace.

"Biern, it's... it's too embarrassing."

Gazing into those beautiful, ruthless gray eyes, Erna pleaded in desperation. She'd already done so many unspeakable things, but the moans pouring from her own mouth sounded so obscene, she could hardly bear it.

"I like that, Erna."

Erna's brows furrowed at Biern's sweetly smiling face.

A sadistic pleasure in others' pain.

She had countless things she wanted to say, but her voice wouldn't come out properly.

Erna shook helplessly in time with him, delving deeper and deeper. The wet sounds of flesh meeting grew rapid and loud. She wasn't sure whether to be relieved or cry that there was something even more humiliating than her moans.

"N-no, please. Ah......!"

When Biern's hand reached down again, Erna started thrashing with sobs. She strained to push it away, but it was futile. All she could do was arch her back and let out scream-like moans.

The moment she was overwhelmed by his irresistible strength inevitably recalled memories of helplessly taking beatings. Her mind knew it was different, but her body shrank first. The rhythmic slapping sounds, the powerlessness, the terror of an unbeatable foe—they shared an eerie similarity.

Just as she thought she'd forget how to breathe, mercifully, Biern withdrew his touch. Slowing his movements briefly, he leaned down to face her.

"Hold me."

To the foolish woman merely enduring his precarious rhythm, Biern instructed calmly.

"You like that too?"

Erna's impudent question left Biern stunned. Licking his suddenly parched lips, he nodded helplessly.

"Yeah."

Biern pressed a quick kiss to the corners of Erna's teary eyes.

"I like it."

Nipping lightly at her flushed cheeks—like a ripe apple—was pure impulse.

Though she flinched and scrunched her face, Erna obediently embraced him. Her awkward caresses on his nape and shoulders were endearing.

With a sigh, Biern resumed his original pursuit. Even as she panted on the verge of collapse, Erna kept her arms locked around him. What an absurdly innocent woman—yet her twitching, clenching depths were provocatively stimulating.

Biern showered nonstop kisses on her wet eyes, heated cheeks, and trembling lips as he picked up the pace.

He had a feeling his wife's body would become hopelessly addictive.

◇◇◇◆◇◇◇

Having taken his wife to his heart's content, Biern finally left the bed in the late hours of dawn.

As he slipped on his robe and rose, Erna—who had been curled up like the dead—reached out weakly to grab his hand.

Biern looked down at his wife questioningly. Clutching the sheet to clumsily cover her nakedness, Erna finally parted her trembling lips after a long pause.

"You can stay."

Her tone was magnanimous, as if granting a favor.

"I'll sleep quietly. No bad sleep habits."

Though her voice was as weak as if she were on death's door.

"Rest well."

Gazing into her large eyes blinking slowly, Biern smiled.

"Let's have lunch together. At that restaurant you like."

After a moment's thought, Biern gently brushed back the hair veiling Erna's cheek with a tender touch. She let his hand slip away smoothly and accepted it meekly.

"Sleep well, Erna."

Biern bent at the waist to kiss her still-warm, flushed cheek, then turned away.

As the door closed, an eerie silence enveloped the bedroom.

Erna stared blankly at the shut door before falling asleep.
