"Father, I just want to live comfortably like the other noble ladies, by marrying well!"
Long ago, the Spartan tribe, once a proud warrior race, was granted knighthood under the Empire’s rule and reborn as the Count of Spartan family.
The heir, Macaron, was blessed with the strength of a true warrior.
Adored by her father and admired by all, she was expected to prove her might by defeating a dragon barehanded as part of her coming-of-age ceremony.
But her only wish was to attend the Spring Ball’s debutante ceremony!
"Do you think I’d ever stand by and watch you prance around in a dress like some doll?"
"That’s too cruel, Father! Don’t look down on the proud young ladies of the Empire!"
After a heated argument with her father, Macaron finally set off for the debutante ball in a carriage.
But the place she arrived in her elegant dress wasn’t the Spring Palace, it was a dragon’s lair in the wilderness!?
"Stay back, it’s dangerous!"
As despair set in and the dragon lunged toward her, a young man appeared, blocking the attack. An encounter that would change Macaron’s life forever...
